Privacy and cookies

When you allow it, the site records how it is used: which pages you open, how far down you scroll, what you click, and basic details about your browser and screen size. Your IP address is added on our side. To do that, and to remember the choice you make on the banner, the site keeps a small amount of information in your own browser. Those are cookies.

To see which work people look at and which pages are hard to use, so the site can be made better. That is the whole reason. Your information is never sold, never passed to advertisers, and never used to follow you onto other websites.

Nothing is recorded until you accept it on the banner. Decline and the site keeps working exactly the same, with nothing measured. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser settings, and the banner will ask you again on your next visit.

If you fill in the contact form, the name, email and message you type are used to answer you and to keep track of your enquiry. Nothing more.

The choice you make on the banner is remembered by your browser for a year. Usage records are kept while they are still useful for improving the site, and are not tied to your name.

The rules where you live give you the right to refuse tracking and to ask for a copy of what is held about you. Both are covered above and apply to everyone who visits, wherever they are. Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act applies to us as an Alberta company.
