Shida Studio is a graphic design studio in Calgary doing print, branding and web design: brochures and catalogues, event posters and trade show banners, packaging, logos and brand guidelines, and custom and WordPress websites. The team has over thirty years of combined experience.

Who we usually work with
A lot of the work is for home builders and developers in and around Calgary: lot maps, event maps, brochures and showhome sales sheets, plus the signage that goes with a site. The rest is a mix of local businesses who need one thing done properly and then need it again next year.

Working with us
We are open Monday to Friday, nine to five. Most projects start with a short conversation about what it is for and when it is needed, because those two answers change everything else. We will tell you if the date is not realistic rather than agree and miss it.

What people ask us
What does a logo cost?
It depends on what comes with it. A logo on its own is a different job from a logo plus guidelines plus the file set for print, signage and web. Tell us what you need it to cover and we will give you a number, not a range.
Do you work with businesses outside Calgary?
Yes. The studio is in Calgary and most clients are here, but the work is done and sent, so location is not a limit.
Can you match what we already have?
Usually. If your brand has never been written down we can work from your existing material and set it out properly at the same time, which makes everything after it easier.
How long does a project take?
A single print piece is often a few days. A brand or a website is weeks, not days, and the honest answer depends on how quickly feedback comes back. We will give you a date at the start and tell you if it slips.
Do you do the printing?
No, we design and send print ready files to your printer. Most clients already have one. If not, we can suggest shops in Calgary that other clients use.
